All-Purpose Reflectance/Transmittance Integrating Sphere

Gigahertz-Optik's basic strategy of offering "Complete Light Measurement Solutions" continues with the innovative UPB-150-ART integrating sphere for multi-purpose single or double beam reflectance, transmittance measurement applications in both +/- 8-degree and 0 degree geometries.

The compact 150 mm diameter ODP97 coated UPB-150-ART offers an ideal compromise between light throughput and sphere functionality while taking both economic aspects and space requirements into consideration. Its five precision CNC machined application ports offer a symmetrical knife-edge design to guarantee optimum light input and its one detector port supports Gigahertz-Optik's standard line of sphere detectors or can be adapted to mount others.

For performing standard reflection and transmission measurements according to current existing standards like DIN-5036, CIE 128 or ISO 13468, the UPB-150-ART is supported by an extensive array of available accessories like port plugs, port reducers, sample holders and light traps.

A key feature is the unique (SFM) slide & fix mount on each port, allowing accessory parts to be fixtured on the port by hand without tools making the system suitable for production as well as laboratory environments. Together with Gigahertz-Optik optometers and accessories, complete light measurement and inspection stations can be established that are calibrated in Gigahertz-Optik's ISO/IEC/EN 17025 accredited calibration laboratory (Reg. No. DKD-K-10601). Calibrations are traceable to national and international standards.
